LifeTime use of home
Home owner legally signed home over to individual requesting that home owner be given life time use of home. Whom is responsible for home repairs?

If the transfer was silent on this, the responsibility is usually on the home owner. Who is responsible for payments of taxes, insurance and other carrying charges? The repair liability usually follows this responsibility. It could be argued, if no money was exchanged, that owner has responsibility. If money was exchanged, this could shift responsibility. These matters should have been covered at the time of transfer.
