Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

listing agreement

If you sign an exclusive listing agreement until dec 2006 without mls

and then reduce your price and sign an mls agreement until sept. which

date are you held to your broker until?? Dec or sept? does the exclusive

agreement still stand even though you lowered the price and went mls??

thanks

Re: listing agreement

It seems as if there are two (2) separate agreements.

If this is the case, the exclusive broker agreement governs the brokers commission for the period and the mls listing is superimposed on thop of this. In other words, it seems as if December is the date.

Re: listing agreement

It depends on what the exclusive agreement states about term, modification.
