Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
We live in a ground level apartment in NYC. Our hallway is a shared hallway with a restaurant that just opened in our building, is it legal to share a residential entrance with a restaurant supply entrance?
Seem crazy having clams being passed through our hallway.

I'm sorry-it probably is legal. The landlord may have a Certificate of Occupancy ("CO") that allows the restaurant and residential tenants. Also, I doubt the owner of the restaurant would risk renting from someone without a CO. Restaurants are notoriously high-risk investments as it is.
