Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
I am the only living child of my parents,, My father owns the home that I am living in (my father passed away 17 years ago).. My step mother has asked me to sign the house over to her so that she can in turn, turn the house over to her 3 children, my stepsiblings.. what should I do.? can you help, I am at my whits end.?

If the house was solely in your father's name when he died, you are entitled to a share of his estate unless he had a will leaving everything to your stepmother.
You should consult with an estate attorney.
