Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

A married couple jointly own a NYC co-op apartment. (Both names are on the sale contract/mortgage etc.) Can one spouse tranfer their ownership to the other spouse ...giving full ownership to one spouse without incurring any tax liabilities (sales tax/IRS taxes etc.) Thanks
