Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I am currently in the midst of purchasing a house in New York. I have a contract from the seller but one clause I am having difficulty in accepting is that the seller has indicated where (name of corporation) to accept the title insurance from. Should I be worried about this?

If I accept this now in order to lock the seller into the contract, can I eventually change the itle insurance corporation?

The party paying for the title policy picks the title company.

You should be free to choose any title company licensed in NY state.
