Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

My mom has liens against her name, which are now tied to any property in her name. My house is in her name, is there any way that the house can be put in my name. She has another house which is actually hers.

A. You have a problem. The house may be placed in your name subject to the judgment lien. For you to have the house transferred to you without the lien, you would have to convince the judgment creditor to waive the lien - not likely.
