Mortgage Question

Hello ... could you please tell me the quickest, cheapist (free is best) way to get my name off of a mortgage? My S.O. has a gambling addiction and it is making my credit bad as well as his.

Refi the property with only your name....all names on the the deed need to sign the mortgage, only the borrower needs to sign the Note.

You can refinance using only your co-owner's credit(if he/she qualifies) or a 3rd party's credit or sell the property.
