Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
My mother passed away and my brother recently took my father to transfer the deed to the homes without informing my sister or I. What rights do we have to reverse this action in the state of new York. My father can not read.

You may sue to undo this transaction on the basis of undue influence, duress or fraud or etc...consult an attorney
Technically, you and your sister have no rights here. Your FATHER has the right to set the deed aside on the grounds Mr. Runinov laid out.
Here is the truly sad part: the attorneys' fees will almost certain exceed the value of the properties, and if you're not very careful, your father will end his days penniless. You should enlist an elder care lawyer, because this is not garden-variety real estate.
