Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
three names on a deed
Hello,
My question is what legal action can I take if I am one of three names on a house deed and other two people do not want to sell the house but I do? and if can't sell what is my share.
Thanks

You can bring a legal action to partition the property. This would either force the other owners to buy you out at an agreed price or force a court ordered sale of the entire property and the proceeds shared between the owners.
This can be a costly proceeding but may be the only solution if one or more owners remain obstinant and refuse to buy or sell.
