Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

We have a neighbor who has a fence. There is also a blackberry bush that grows on our side of the fence. He frequently comes on my side of the fence and picks the berrys. I would normally have no problem with this, However, He doesn't want anyone on his property, So , I was wondering if we have the legal right to ask him to keep off of our property if he comes over here to pick berries again. Since he recently wants us to stay off of his.
