Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
In NY if a real estate broker shows you a house; states a price; and refuses to accept a lwer bid; so you go to another real estate broker who accepts a lower bid. If I buy with the 2nd broker at a price lower than the first broker quoted, have I any liabilty to the first broker?

By law, a real estate broker is obligated to present ALL offers to the seller.
That being said, if you go through with this transaction after being shown the property by a different broker, you could very well be buying a lawsuit from the original broker.
In examining this response, please note that we are not entering into an attorney/client relationship, that this is to be taken as informative, and not as legal advice, that it is always best to speak to a lawyer in your area and/or in the area where the transaction and/or events occurred, and that my answer is necessarily limited by the fact that I have not seen the documentation or had an opportunity to go over the matters with you in detail.
