Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
Hello, In NYC, in a co-op building, how long do I have to sue the buildind and neighbors for personal property damage due to a leak from a pipe burst from the co-op apartment above me? The neighbor had a plumber that could not fix the problem, so the doorman/Acting Super tried to fix it and the valve burst and leaked for hours. The managing agent stated my person property is not covered under the building's insurance.
Thank you.
