Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
I have our office building which my sister in law owens half of. She has law suit against
Me. Doesn’t want to sell building. There is mortgage on it plus mortgage of my home is attached to this. I can’t sell my house. And if the building is foreclosed I will lose my home is there a way she can be forced to sell the building

Yes, Bring an action in partition that will either force her to buy you out or force a sale at fair mkt price.
