Overcrowding?

Is it legal for one adult and four children/dependents to occupy a 2 bedroom apartment in Upstate New York? Many neighbors have asked if this is legal and I wonder myself. Thank you!

It all deneds onyour local ordinances. Often there is an occupancy limit based upon the livable square footage. This varies from municipality to municipality.
