Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

partition sale

Court order for sale obtained by claiming agreement that did not exist. Private sale to cotenants ex husband. I was allowed no opportunity to bid or remove personal property. My atty says I have no rights. I have received no compensation for my loss. Other attys say I'm not an atty so I don't know law but I can read RPAPL Art. 9 and NY Jur 2d-Coten & Par and I think I do have rights that have been violated. How do I find an atty who will represent my interests?
