Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Down payment indifference

My fiance and myself are planning on purchasing a home prior to marriage. Our parents will be giving us 100,000 each in the form of a loan but I also have 100,000 I would like to use toward the down payment. How do I protect my down payment in case we ever seperate?

Yes Mr. Markowitz is correct regarding a premarital agreement. We have substantial experience handling these types of cases, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination. You are welcome to contact us for a free consultation.
