Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

power of attorney

My nephew wants me to be power of attorney for his property in New York State. He lives in Florida. Can I mail him the forms from NY to be signed by him and notarized in Florida/? He is not in a position to hire a lawyer in Florida.
