Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

My previous employer accidentally direct deposited money into my account after I had stopped working there. I notified them of the problem, and they said they would reverse the payment. I has been nearly a month since I contacted them. Is the money mine? Will it become mine after a certain amount of time?

A. No.

Q. Will it become mine after a certain amount of time?

A. 6 years (the statute of limitations period).
