The executor of your parents' will is responsible for transferring all property of the deceased to the rightful heirs. If your parents did not have a will, you can petition the court to be appointed the administrator of their estate and divest their property according to New York statutory law. For follow-up contact 212-208-2470. Best of luck.

If only life were so easy. You will first have to probate the estate. Then you can transfer title.

I suggest you contact an attorney.
