How long can a lien from a credit card debit be on a property, and what happens if the time perod runs out?

If the debt is reduced to a judgment, the lien against real property is for ten (10) years, pursuant to NY CPLR section 212. However, the judgment remains for twenty (20) years pursuant to NY CPLR 211.
