prperty encroachment

My neighbor has an apple tree whose branches overhang my property. The apples are a nuisance (dead spots in the lawn, skunks, frequent apple maintenance). What is my recourse?

You have the right to trim the branches that overhang your property line... at your expense.

I suggest speaking to the neighbor before you do any trimming.
