Question of application for rental property

I filled out an application for a rental property which states... Soc.security numbers, drivers license numbers,date of birth, bank account numbers. after filling out the application, I wondering...Can the landlord use this info fraudulently because i didn't take the property ??? i am very worried about this.

While there is no absolute assurance that the data won't be mis-used, several federal laws provide serious penalties.
