My question is can i sue a person who is the president of a cooperation as well as the cooperation which is a parking garage for damages to my car? also what would stand up in court as proof of the book value of my car since i did not have full coverage and had to get two separate estimates

to show it cost more than the car is worth?

A. You can sue anyone you want. That does not make him or her responsible.

Q. also what would stand up in court as proof of the book value of my car since i did not have full coverage and had to get two separate estimates to show it cost more than the car is worth?

A. Assuming that you are filing in small claims court, you would need two itemized estimates to fix the damage - not the book value of the car. If you are filing in "regular court", an itemized estimate is hearsay and may not be admitted during trial. During the trial you would have to get an expert to testify as to damages.
