Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
I'm a real estate agent, I sold a house and my broker is refusing to pay me my full commission, after I work with the customers for over 10 months, she waited just before the closing to pick a fight with me and to keep me out of the closing so I would not see the commission amount, (I had it fax over to me.).. The broker also filed a false claim on me and without a hearing and without me presenting my side of story, my liscense is now suspened or ?? Can someone please help me, I have another agency ready to hire me, but this is a problem, and it's the weekend and the DOS(department of state) will be closed until Monday. I'm sick over this? Please tell me how this could have happen from just a phone call from a broker, and what can I do about it? Will it take long to fix? Thank you, Selina
