Re: real estate closing

I raise the same question as Bob. Was this a "dry closing", which means all documents were signed, but will be held in escrow until the closing funds are received and cleared? If not, you should not have delivered anything until you received good checks. If this is not resolved today, contact your closing lawyer to see what happened. If you did not have a lawyer, check with the title company, who probably had a representative at the closing to see what is going on. Should this be, and I do not anticipate it was, some type of fraud, immediately contact an attorney, as you must protect yourself.
