brooklyn, NY, 6 fam. house, tenant lease expired and wont pay rent, can i evict him myself, how long will it take. Not a senior citizen

It is recommended that you should retain counsel. However, that does not mean it is a must. Depending on circumstance, it should take 4 to 8 weeks.
