Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Release letter to a bank

My bank is willing to release a parcel of my property(i have 3) from my mortgage, but I have to write a release letter to them to approve. My question is how do you write a release letter and what is its content? Can I do this myself or do I need a lawyer to write it up?

Re: Release letter to a bank

Whenever you deal with releases, you may be better served in the long run to retain an attorney and have things done right in the first instance. The language can be technical depending upon the facts of the situation. Our firm has been handling real estate matters since the 1930's and would be happy to handle drafting this release for you. Please contact me at the email address below for further information.

Thanks for the question.
