Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
Rent to Buy
I rent an apartment in a two family brownstone and I wanted to know if I could present an option to my landlord for me to buy my apartment. Is that possible? It is a private residence, we are the only tenants, myself and landlord.

Re: Rent to Buy
You certainly can, however, it would be advisable to retain an experienced attorney to represent and assist you in negotiations to purchase property in NY. We have substantial experience handling these types of cases, however, we would need some more information before making a complete and proper determination. Re: Rent to Buy
You may always make an offer to purchaser realty. That does not necessarily mean that the owner will accept.
