Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

What are my rights?

I was divorced two years ago and foolishly gave up everything to my ex-husband including, I thought, the house. Recently my ex-husband almost lost the house to foreclosure and I was notified that my name is still on the deed implying that I am still responsible for said property. My Ex has since saved the house and is still dwelling there. My question is: What are my rights to this house? If I have my name removed from the deed can I get any compensation from it? Am I allowed to sell this property if I choose to? I am very confused to what my rights are to this property.

Thank you.

You must review the language of the Judgment of Divorce, and if the case settled--the terms of the stipulation of settlement.
