can I sell without the other

I own a co-op with my sibling. He is wealthy and I am not -- how can I sell this if he does notwant to? Also, Can I take a mortgage on my share of the co-op without him having knowledge of it?

1. Yes you can if you go to court to force a sale.

2.No you cannot
