A complete set of closing documents, including copies of the Deed, Affidavit of Title and HUD Closing Statement. You will probably get a Form 1099 next year, as the sale must be reported for income tax purposes, whether a profit or loss, and even if it was your principal residence..

At the closing you should get a deed which you will sign and give to the buyer, transfer tax documents , which must be signed by both sides, recorded and taxes paid, HUD statement et.al. There are a number of other documents depending on the nature of the property and transaction.
