Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Selling A House In Foreclosure

Hello, I received foreclosure papers on my home, and decided to list my house on the market. I also have obtained an attorney, who has deferred the foreclosure, but my question is: can my attorney ask for final payoff amounts for the first and second mortage holders prior to a contractual bid for purchase placed on my house? I feel this is important information I need to know prior to accepting any bids on the house. I would appreciate any advice on this matter. I thank you in advance.

Sincerley,

Re: Selling A House In Foreclosure

1- You have an attorney that you are paying. Why not ask that person?

2. Yes, but the numbers might be meaningless at this point.

Good Luck
