Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

I signed a contract with a sublessor who now wants to evict me. However I make my rent check out to the owner of the home every month. Ca she legally evict me? And can she show my room to other people without having me sign the eviction papers?

If at the direction on the sublessor you send the rent check to the owner, and the sublease is legal, and you are not in violation of any other provision in the sublease, then the sublessor is not able to obtain a Judgment of Possession and Warrant of Eviction.
