Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

signifigant other has moved out of my house (i am sole owner) over 60 days ago, and has left all personal property behind, i would like her to remove all items. how long do i have to keep these items before i can have them removed? do i have to put them in a seperate storage? can i demand she removes them?

When you say significant other, is she your wife? If yes, I would suggest not moving her things out of the house until you dissolve the marriage.

If the significant other is not a wife, send a certified letter demanding that she retrieve her belongings. If she does not, I would ship her belongings to her and request that she pay the shipping charges.
