Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
in the state of ny if I own property, but have signed the deed over to a family member and now wish to sell the property can I do that without any interference or involvement from the person who holds the deed. the papers were done as me having lifetime rites to property and I am also paying any and all taxes, expenses, utilities or any financial responsibility on the property.?

You could sell your life estate if you find someone willing to buy it.
