Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Stipulation

A stipulation of settlement was issued by a judge, which was an agreement between myself and supposedly the new landlord. The agreement stated that upon vacating the room I stayed in and handing over the keys before the give eviction date, moneys for my moving expenses would be giving to me.I handed over keys in front of the judge and the supposed new landlord inspected the room and saw I had vacated, but he never honored his part of the stipulation. What recourse of action do I have.

Re: Stipulation

If the agreement(stipulation) is in writing and "so ordered" by the Judge, you can bring an Order to Show Cause to restore the case for an order to compel the landlord to pay and/or for a money judgment.
