im a tenant and the only one on the lease; two others live with me the landlord does know. i need them to leave because theyre verbally abusive and steal. how do i make them leave?

You have to serve them with a notice of termination. Give a full month's notice, so I you serve today, you would be telling them to leave by July 1. If they don't go, then you have to take them to landlord-tenant court. I recommend you place insurance coverage before you notify your roommates to leave.
Mr. Connolly is wrong about the date in the notice. It must be June 30. If in the notice you write July 1, the court will bounce your petition for a warrant of eviction.
