Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
Type Your Question Here... I am married, but" trouble in paradise". The deed to our condo is in my name. We have a 19 yr old daughter. My husband hasn't been good with money and has been in debt many times and doesn't make a good living. In the event something happened to me, would my adult daughter get part ownership? Or, what is the law in NYS?? Thank You

She might, depending on the size of your estate. Your husband would inherit a larger part.
You might want to add her to the deed as a joint owner. That way she would get the condo.
