Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
What types of proof are landlords allowed to ask prospective tenants for? For example, are they allowed to ask for W-2's or pay stubs? Are they allowed to ask for a credit check? What's everything they are and aren't allowed to ask for? Thanks.
