Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

If a unlicensed company is conducting real estate through and unlicensed individual, does that make their documentation/security deposit contracts/ect. null and void?

No but if their actions cause you damages you may be able to recover.

If what you say is true you should report the company to the NY Department of State and the local Police or District Attorney with proof of your statements.
