Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
usage of family camp
when my father died the family camp was deeded to my brother with my mom, my sister, and myself having life usage. Does my brother have the right to say who I can or cannot bring to the camp with me while I am there?

In general, no, unless the Will restricts this in some way, or some law is violated.

If in NY you have received what is called a life estate in the property. You can live there, visit there or otherwise occupy the property at your will and with whoever you wish for any legal purpose. There may be some limitations that your father put on the property but these documents would have to be reviewed before a further opinion is given.
