Violating one's personal property
I am a lease holder of a store which was bought out by a chain store. They purchased my saleable products,fixtures & records. They were using my location for temporary storage of these goods. I allowed them unsupervised access to the store to remove these boxes only. A day later I went to the store to do some paper work & found them handling,removing,and bagging up the stores personal property. Tossing files,pictures,documents, valuables aside like trash. They were doing this to remove their shelves. This was not with my permission. I still pay the rent. Do they have the right to violate my property in his way? Is this a violation of my rights? I am very upset. Is their any recourse?

It sounds like you should file a criminal complaint againts them.

You may also want to seek damages.
