can my wife be kicked out of my apt if iam a cotenant and she is not on the lease

By co-tenant you mean there is another person in addition to you on the lease? By law, a lease to X is construed to mean X, his/her immediate family (this includes spouse) and one more person. So an eviction attempt vs your wife would be an actionable tort.
