Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
Hi, In new York city , My mom and dad was married for 40 years and split home ownership with my dads sister. The mortgage was paid off and now they just pay tax assessments each year. My mom passed away 5 years ago and my dad remarried. As the biological son of my dad do I have any rights to the house if its sold.

Probably not unless you are named on the deed. You may be entitled to share your dad's half with your stepmother. It's complicated and depends on how the deed is worded.
