probate,wills and trusts
if I set up my mothers brokerage account to joint tenant with righ to suvivorship, would this account be subject to probate when she dies? I have durabel power of attorney already.

I suggest that you consult qualified estate counsel. First, the durable power of attorney does not survive death. Second, if you have joint tenancy and there is only one signature required, then your mother's death should not affect your ability to act regarding the brokerage account.
