Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New York

Harassment

My husband works for a large company downtown NY. Someone there has been pursuing since last OCtober. She originally was sending him emails until he got smart and starting printing them off as proof. Once she knew he had printed them she stopped but she still sends him instant messages on his phone. He has told her several times he is not interested. HIs company said they can not do anything because there has been no physical contact although she has tried to kiss him. He is a manager and she works in another department. What can we do to end her harassment?

Re: Harassment

You should consult with an attorney, who will file a complaint with the EEOC. If that does not resolve the matter, then the attorney will file suit against the company. Be sure your husband makes all reports to his superiors, makes them in writing, asks for copies of any reports generated by his complaints. Feel free to call our offices to discuss. We handle cases like this, and have a practice in NY, NJ, and PA. There is no charge for a consultation.
