Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New York

Harrassment of a coworker

My coworker asked me to write to you.Over the course of four years, my supervisor has made comments through emails and conversations of a sexual nature to her. For a short time they were seeing each other outside of work. He is not her supervisor!!!!! J has also touched her when they have been alone in a room. Even after telling him to stop.It occurred again at least two more times.

Even though they were dating during some of the times of the comments and touching; Can it still be considered harrassment. The comments and emails haven't stopped. Even though the relationship has for over a year now.

Re: Harrassment of a coworker

Your fact pattern raises interesting issues, which I would need more facts in order to properly address. There seems to be a consensual relationship for a brief period therefore it will be important to determine when the harassment started, continued and ended.

I would be interesting in discussing this with your friend. Please have them contact me if they would like to delve into this further.

Kind regards,
