Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in New York

My husband's male NP was asking detailed sexually explicit questions about our sex life at his last appointment. He is also my NP and was complimenting my looks to my husband before asking innappropriate and lude questions about our sex life. Can we take legal action?

If you are uncomfortable with your NP the best thing to do is seek a new NP or other healthcare professional. The NP's questioning as you outlined does not fall into any area where you have a remedy at law.
