You are taking the proper steps in seeking legal counsel. Even if your claim of sexual harassment has no merit, it is still unlawful for your employer to commence adverse action against you for filing a complaint (e.g. retaliation). You may being to protect your employment by filing a complaint about the original charge and the suspected retaliation with the New York State Div. of Human Rights (http://www.dhr.state.ny.us/) or the EEOC (http://EEOC.gov) or see an attorney before or after you have filed your complaints. Best wishes.
